Course Description//
In this class, 6th-8th grade students will access electronic art through the medium of basic electronics to make their own
responsive new media sound projects, art making devices (drawing machines), and light sculptures. Students will gain an
understanding of artists working in this medium and will produce their own electronically based artworks both individually and
working in groups. The goals of this course are to introduce students to basic principals of interactive art and new electronic
materials that can be used in art making. No experience with electronics needed and all skill levels are welcome.

Adler Planetarium Technology Camp & Technology Camp 2.0

Course Description//

I am currently the Technology Camp Instructor which involves developing and delivering a 4-6th grade robotics curriculum with the LEGO NXT as the root material. Students will also engage with 3D modeling and Video production over the course of tech camp while learning about space.

He makes a very interesting link between my Tracks Series beetles and his work exploring “ the design philosophies behind folk games like JS Joust and how they relate to game analytics, the process of analyzing game-related data” (Medler).
